How to Watch the Wedding Veil Movies in Order
Although there hasn’t been a new Wedding Veil film since 2023, that doesn’t mean the movie series won’t continue. Alison Sweeney recently said she and her costars would love to keep making more Wedding Veil films. In honor of the beloved Hallmark franchise, keep reading to learn how to watch the Wedding Veil movies in order from beginning to end.
The original Wedding Veil trilogy, which featured the first three films — The Wedding Veil, The Wedding Veil Unveiled, and The Wedding Veil Legacy — premiered on the Hallmark channel in January and February of 2022. The series stars Days of Our Lives actress Alison Sweeney (Sami) as Tracy, All My Children alum Lacey Chabert (Bianca) as Avery, and Autumn Reeser as Emma.
After the success of the first three films, the Wedding Veil released a sequel trilogy in 2023, which featured the return of the ladies and their onscreen leading men, including Days of Our Lives star Victor Webster (Nicholas), When Calls the Heart fan-favorite Kevin McCreary (Nathan), and Thomas Darya. The last release, The Wedding Veil Journey, debuted on January 21, 2023.
Now that more than a year has passed since the second trilogy, will there be more Wedding Veil films? In a February 2024 interview with CinemaBlend, Sweeney said she and her co-stars are interested in continuing the franchise.
“I had heard that people were talking about doing something, and certainly the girls and I would love to do another movie,” she told the site, adding that the decision lies with Chabert because she was an executive producer on the previous movies. “So I hope Lacey makes something happen, because it would be so fun to reunite.”

1. The Wedding Veil (2022)
The Wedding Veil is the first film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise. The film — which premiered on January 8, 2022 — follows three longtime college friends who discover a mysterious, antique veil fabled to unite its bearer with her true love. After finding a long-lost painting, museum curator Avery and new board member Peter investigate the artwork’s origins as they plan a gala to unveil it.
5. The Wedding Veil Inspiration (2023)
The Wedding Veil Inspiration is the fifth film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise and the second movie in the sequel trilogy. The film — which premiered on January 14, 2023 — centers on Emma, who is teaching and working hard to get promoted to department chair as Paolo’s lace shop is about to open. As the couple navigates their busy schedules, Emma bumps heads with the current chair of her department and starts questioning her life choices. She’ll need Paolo’s help and a little magic from the veil to start living her life fully.
2. The Wedding Veil Unveiled (2022)
The Wedding Veil Unveiled is the second film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise. The film — which premiered on February 12, 2022 — sees Emma travel to Italy to teach and investigate a wedding veil said to bring its owner love. While there, she meets a local named Paolo, the son of a local lace-making family.
3. The Wedding Veil Legacy (2022)
The Wedding Veil Legacy is the third film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise. The film — which premiered on February 19, 2022 — centers on Tracy, the last of her friends to take possession of an antique wedding veil. She meets Nick, who helps her save an original draft of The New Colossus in exchange for her helping him run his restaurant.
4. The Wedding Veil Expectations (2023)
The Wedding Veil Expectations is the fourth film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise and the first movie in the sequel trilogy. The film — which premiered on January 7, 2023 — follows Avery and her husband, Peter, as they renovate their old house. With remodeling and navigating a new boss at the museum, Avery leans on Emma and Tracy for support. When newlywed Tracy returns the antique wedding veil to Emma, the friends may find that they haven’t seen the last of its magic.
6. The Wedding Veil Journey (2023)
The Wedding Veil Journey is the sixth film in Hallmark’s Wedding Veil franchise and the third movie in the sequel trilogy. The film — which premiered on January 21, 2023 — sees Tracy as head of the auction house while Nick’s restaurant is booming with customers. Unfortunately, the success of their careers means that the couple has little time to see each other. They agree to make time for their long-overdue honeymoon and head to Greece to relax. When a travel delay costs their hotel room, they can stay on a remote island nearby. Can the veil work its magic again and bring them back together.
